Toyota Racing

Since 2012, Sébastien has been a driver for the Toyota endurance team. The reigning world champions and three-time Le Mans winners will defend their titles against new competitors using a race version of the upcoming hypercar road car, featuring powertrain technology developed in the TS050 HYBRID and highlighted by the new GAZOO Racing brand.


TOYOTA GAZOO Racing enters its twelfth season in the WEC with the same driver line-up that brought Le Mans and Team World Championship glory in the 2018 to 2022 seasons. Sébastien Buemi will drive the #8 car accompanied by Ryo Hirakawa and Brendon Hartley. Seven races on three continents, starting with the 1000 Miles of Sebring on 17 March followed by the 6h of Portimao on 16 April and the 6h of Spa-Francorchamps on 29 April. The 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place on 10 and 11 June followed by the 6 Hours of Monza on 9 July. Finally the 6h of Fuji on September 10 and the final, the 8h of Bahrain on November 4, 2023.
