TOUGH WEEKEND IN INDONESIA FOR ENVISION RACING
The highly anticipated double-header in Jakarta provided an electrifying atmosphere for motorsport fans. Sébastien Buemi faced a series of obstacles during the intense races, but he showed real courage and resilience throughout the event.
During the first race of the weekend, Buemi had a difficult start due to problems with his car. A contact with another car forced him into the pits with a puncture. Despite this setback, Buemi's determination remained unshaken as he skilfully navigated the circuit, gradually working his way through the field. With each lap, Sébastien showed unfailing concentration and determination, eventually crossing the finish line in P20.
Undeterred by the difficulties encountered in the first race, Sébastien Buemi approached the second race with renewed determination and a cautious approach. Starting from 13th on the grid and demonstrating exceptional skill and a faultless start, he gradually worked his way up the ranks, moving into the top 10 by the fifth lap. However, an unfortunate incident damaged his front wing, which was an additional obstacle to overcome.
Sébastien managed to sneak into the top 10 on the final lap, securing his team a hard-earned point.
"It was a disappointing weekend overall for the team. We struggled to get up to speed all weekend. The problem at the start of the race and the puncture. On the second day, we made a small mistake with the fashion attack but it wasn't easy to climb back up from 13th place. We've learned well and we're concentrating on Portland, which is a circuit with a lot of straight lines." Sébastien Buemi
The Formula E season resumes in a fortnight' time in Portland on Saturday 24 June.
