New points in Monaco for Sébastien and Envision

The Envision team went to the mythical city circuit of Monaco for the 9th round of the Formula E championship.

Sébastien Buemi had started the weekend well with very good times in FP1 and FP2. Unfortunately, a tyre pressure problem made qualifying very difficult for Sebastien in his Formula E Envision car.

This problem changed the team's strategy for the qualifying session, preventing Sébastien from continuing the qualifying battle. Sébastien finished in 15th place on the starting grid. A very uncomfortable position when you know how difficult it is to overtake on the mythical circuit of Monaco.

Starting 15th, the former champion had everything to do, but at the chequered flag he managed to take 8th place and confirm Envision Racing's position at the top of the Teams' Championship.

"We had a good start to the weekend with some very good testing. Unfortunately, our tyre pressure problem during qualifying cost us dearly. I'm a bit frustrated and disappointed of course, even though we picked up some valuable points with 8th place. The Formula E season resumes in 4 weeks time with the double E-Prix in Jakarta on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4.
