A victory in Berlin, and now, head down to Le Mans !

In Berlin, the qualifying session went well, even if it is a bit frustrating to miss the superpole and its three points by almost nothing.

During the race, I took a good start and took the lead, but I immediately started to manage my battery, and I chose to let Jean-Eric Vergne by instead of over-spending on the scheduled electric consumption. Should I have done it, I would have had to seriously slow down during the last laps of the race.

I eventually passed Jean-Eric where he probably did not expect it. And I brought home the victory and the 25 points – it’s a shame that we missed the fastest lap by almost nothing.

Now I am only one point behind Luca Di Grassi, while there are still two races to go, in London. The weather there could be surprising, so we’ll see. The fight will be interesting.

But in the meantime, I head to Le Mans and the 24 Hours. There either, it won’t be easy, but I really believe that we have a card to play. Don’t lose sight of my Toyota!
