Happy to win the second race in Berlin
Obviously, I am very disappointed of this Saturday. After a poor qualifying, I did a great race to finish in fifth position and score the maximum points I could. However, despite the disappointment, I remained focused to do another great race on Sunday and come back even stronger.
For this second race on Sunday, I secured my second place at the start of the race and from then I drove a faultless race. There was a light touch in the first corner which I was afraid could potentially cost me during the race. I started the race on a used set of tyres in the hope of being even more competitive with the second car. During the first part of the race, I tried to follow Felix’s rhythm in order not to be too far behind and to lead the rest of the pack. Despite the fact we did a good car swap and that I had the Fanboost, I didn’t manage to overtake him. The objective for him was to cross the line with at least a 10s advantage ahead of Di Grassi. I would like to say a big congratulations to him for both races.
